An assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, and truth of someone or something. For example we want to go to the top of the Empire State Building. Standing at 102 stories and 1,454 feet at its pinnacle, the Empire State Building was the tallest building in the world for nearly 40 years after its completion. You must purchase tickets, Adult $75, Child $69, Senior $73. When you step inside the elevator you rise about 1,400 feet, held up by cable devices that YOU PLACE YOUR TRUST IN. I understand the experience is breath taking!!!
I want to share with you something I have experience now for 49 years. The price of this indescribable experience is $0.00! It is just a matter of COMPLETE TRUST. You see, “…God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him SHALL NOT perish, but have ETERNAL LIFE. “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might BE SAVED through Him.” (John 3:16-17) Jesus askes us to love one another, “…now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. JUST AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, you should love each other. Your love for one another WILL PROVE to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:34-35)
Now about this complete trust, “Trust in the LORD with ALL YOUR HEART; do not depend on YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. Seek His will in ALL YOU DO, and He will show you which path to take.” (Pro. 3:5-6) Our heavenly Father created in us the ability to reason, to understand complex puzzling problems but our eternal path is ordered by God and we MUST TRUST in Him…
“Trust (bāṭaḥ: to be safe and secure) in the LORD forever, For in YAHWEH ELOHIM, we have an everlasting (olam: permanent and perpetual) Rock (ṣûr: a refuge, sanctuary).” (Isa. 26:4)
