“Keep this Book of the Law [our Bible] always ON YOUR LIPS; MEDITATE ON IT day and night, so that you may be careful to DO EVERYTHING WRITTEN IN IT. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL BE WITH YOU wherever you go.” (Josh. 1:8, 9) Do a search on “The word of the Lord” you will see that it occurs 258 times in the KJV. So: think about the word, speak the word, and do the word! “As for God, HIS WAY IS PERFECT: The LORD’s WORD IS FLAWLESS; He shields all who take refuge in Him.” (2 Sam. 22:31) This world is full of uncertainties, thank you Abba Father for your flawless word!
“For the word of the LORD IS RIGHT AND TRUE; He is faithful in all He does…By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by THE BREATH OF HIS MOUTH.” (Psa. 33:4-6) When you speak Abba Father, your words bring forth life! When we hide your word in our hearts we are hiding life and joy in us. “The law of the LORD IS PERFECT, REFRESHING the soul. The statutes [rulings] of the LORD are trustworthy, MAKING WISE the simple.” (Psa. 19:7) Thank YOU that YOUR word has not been “watered down” it has stayed pure and powerful for thousands of years! “The precepts (piqqûd: commandments) of the LORD are right, giving JOY to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving LIGHT to the eyes.” (Psa. 19:8) We are so blessed to have the living “Word of God” Jesus Christ in us, who makes the “written word” alive and active in us… “In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD…And THE WORD became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of THE ONLY BEGOTTEN FROM THE FATHER, full of grace and truth.” (John. 1:1, 14)
YOUR WORD GIVES JOY TO OUR HEARTS, YOUR WORDS ARE RADIANT AND THEY GIVE LIGHT TO OUR EYES…
