GOD’S IMMUTABILITY…

“For I am the LORD, I DO NOT CHANGE…” (Mal. 3:6) God is immutable (unchallengeable). First, God is perfect and has no need to change, second, God has no beginning and no ending, He can know no change. He is everlastingly, “…the Father of the heavenly lights, who DOES NOT CHANGE like shifting shadows. (Jam. 1:17) God is perpetually the same: subject to no change in His being, attributes, or determinations. Therefore God is compared to a rock I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! HE IS THE ROCK, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong…” (Deut. 32:3-4)

So, when the Word says, “…the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable (unchangeable).(Rom. 11:29) Remember God is immutable, when He created us, OUR frame was not hidden from You, When WE WERE made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw OUR substance, being yet unformed. And IN YOUR BOOK THEY ALL WERE WRITTEN, THE DAYS FASHIONED FOR US, When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to US, O God! How great is the sum of them!(Psa. 139:15-17) Can we refuse to do what God has called us to do? Yes, but we will have problems resisting God’s will because, ALL WE WILL EVER NEED TO DO OUR CALLING, GOD WILL PROVIDE
