THERE IS NO FOOLISHNESS OF GOD…

“…the FOOLISHNESS OF GOD is wiser than men, and the WEAKNESS OF GOD is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world and the weak things of the world to put to shame the mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosenTHAT NO FLESH SHOULD GLORY IN GOD’S PRESENCE. (1 Corin. 1:25-29)

We know that God is certainly not foolish nor is He weak, when Paul speaks of the “foolishness” or “weakness” of God, he is speaking only of the perception of those who are perishing BY REFUSING TO ACCEPT THE GOSPEL MESSAGE. The statement that “no flesh should glory…” is reinforced by the fact that God has chosen the foolish, weak, and base things to bring to nothing the things that think they are something, for what purpose?

SO, THAT ALL THE GLORY GOES ONLY TO GOD
