“…if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead DWELLS (lives) IN YOU, He who raised Christ from the dead will also GIVE LIFE (zōopoieō: spiritual life) TO YOUR MORTAL BODIES through His Spirit who dwells in you…as many as are LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “ABBA (Daddy), FATHER.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are CHILDREN OF GOD, and if children, then heirs—HEIRS OF GOD AND JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” (Rom. 8:11, 14-17)
If the Holy Spirit lives in us, which He does when we ask Jesus to come into our heart, He will give spiritual life to our human bodies. Then if we allow the Spirit of God to lead us we become Gods children, we are adopted by the Father and we cry out Daddy Father, realizing that we are God’s heirs which makes us joint- heirs with Jesus Christ. This is what is so wonderful, “…the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Rom. 8:26) Not only that but, “…we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Rom. 8:28)
