Well, just what are His qualifications? “For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, WHO IS GOD, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the LORD, and THERE IS NO OTHER.” (Isa. 45:18) Ok, what else have you done? “…The LORD made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; He keeps truth forever, He executes justice for the oppressed, He gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down. The LORD shall REIGN FOREVER…” (Psa. 146:5-10)
What else did the Lord do that qualifies Him to help us? “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR YOU. You show lovingkindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them—the Great, the Mighty God, whose name is the LORD of hosts. You are GREAT IN COUNSEL AND MIGHTY IN WORK, for your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jer. 32:17-19) Where did this all begin? “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “LET THERE BE LIGHT“; and there was light.” (Gen. 1:1-3) These words “then God said” were spoken ten more times and EVERYTHING THAT EXISTS was brought into being… “And God saw that it was good.”
