“There was a Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews…came to Jesus and said to Him, “Rabbi, WE KNOW that You are a teacher come from God; for NO ONE CAN DO THESE SIGNS (miracles) that You do UNLESS GOD IS WITH HIM.” (John 3:1-2) Apparently there were other Pharisees that believed as well! Now, wouldn’t you think Jesus would say, “thank you”! But no Jesus says you are going to hell unless you’re born again!
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, UNLESS ONE IS BORN AGAIN, he CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” (John 3:1-3) Jesus says to Nicodemus, you cannot even SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD unless your born again. Jesus tried to explain to this religious leader, how one is born again. “Nicodemus said, “How can these things be?” Jesus said, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do NOT KNOW THESE THINGS?” (John 3:9-10) Jesus said to Nicodemus, “…as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him SHOULD NOT PERISH (will not be condemned) BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.” (John 3:14-15)
Now Jesus explains it to him AMANDA, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT, because their deeds WERE EVIL. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, for fear THEIR SINS WILL BE EXPOSED. But he who does the truth COMES TO THE LIGHT, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” (John 3:18-21)
“Whoever believes in the Son HAS ETERNAL LIFE, but whoever rejects the Son WILL NOT SEE LIFE, for God’s wrath remains on them.” (John 3:36)
