“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house (in the third heaven) are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO.” (John 14:1-3)
Where is heaven? Paul talked about heaven, “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago (Paul is speaking of himself, he said it’s not lawful to talk about it) —whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to THE THIRD HEAVEN. And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is NOT LAWFUL FOR A MAN TO UTTER.” (2 Corin. 12:2-4) If there is a third heaven there must be at least two more, “God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” and it was so. And God called THE FIRMAMENT, HEAVEN (the atmosphere).” (Gen. 1:6-8) This is the first heaven.
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of THE HEAVENS to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens (outer space) to give light on the earth”; and it was so.” (Gen. 1:14-15)
Is there a description of the third heaven TOMMY? “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Rev. 21:2) Now he gives a little more detail, “The angel who talked to me held in his hand a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. When he measured it, he found it was a square, as wide as it was long. In fact, its length and width and height were each 1,400 miles. Then he measured the walls and found them to be 216 feet thick (according to the human standard used by the angel). The wall was made of jasper, and the city was pure gold, as clear as glass.” (Rev. 21:15-18) That is 2,744,000,000 cubic miles of space, much larger than all the land mass of plant earth.
