“Then the Jews said to Jesus, “If You are the Christ, TELL US PLAINLY.” Jesus answered them, “I TOLD YOU, AND YOU DO NOT BELIEVE. But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep…MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, and I know them, and THEY FOLLOW ME. And I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, and NO ONE IS ABLE TO SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY FATHER’S HAND.” (John 10:24-30) It really would not matter how plainly Jesus would show and tell them that He was the Christ, they did not believe, why?
As Jesus told them earlier, “…you are not able to listen to My word. You are of YOUR FATHER THE DEVIL, and the desires of your father YOU WANT TO DO. He was a murderer…there is NO TRUTH IN HIM…for HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF IT. He who is of God hears God’s words; you do not hear, because YOU ARE NOT OF GOD.” (John 8:43-44, 47) God’s chosen people, the children of promise, God’s nation, Israel forsook God, so Paul tells us, “…remember that you, once Gentiles…were without Christ, being aliens from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God…But now in Christ Jesus you…brought near by the blood of Christ…Now, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but…
