“Whoever sins has neither seen Jesus or knowns Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins IS OF THE DEVIL, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:6-8) As a Man Amanda, Jesus had the likeness of the flesh of sin, and He came concerning sin, but in Him there was NO SIN. Therefore, when He was on the cross, God saw Him as flesh – He saw Him as sin, and He condemned sin in the flesh. Jesus had the likeness of the flesh, but with NO SIN in His flesh.
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that WE MIGHT LIVE THROUGH HIM. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (appeasement, pacification) for our sins…know this about fear, There is NO FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:9-10, 18-19)
