How does God feel about the Bible Amanda? “I am warning everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book (the Bible). If you add anything to them, GOD WILL ADD TO YOU the plagues told about in this book. If you take any words away from the book of prophecy (the Bible), GOD WILL TAKE AWAY FROM YOU your share in the tree of life. He will also take away your place in the Holy City.” (Rev. 22:18-19)
Why is the Bible, the Word of God, so important?
- “For the word of God is LIVING and POWERFUL, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a DISCERNER (become aware of) of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
- “All Scripture is 1GOD–BREATHED and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16-17) 1theopneustos: is made up of two words, “Theo” meaning ‘God‘ and “pneustos” meaning ‘breathed‘.
When we open and read the Word of God Amanda, it is being BREATHED OUT BY GOD, it is FULL OF POWER, and it is FULL OF LIFE. There is no other book in existence that provides all of that. That’s why Satan works overtime to keep people from giving serious attention to the WORD OF GOD.
