“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, healing EVERY disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, He had COMPASSION ON THEM, because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” (Matt. 9:35-36) Often, when Jesus saw crowds of people who seemed lost, He was moved with compassion. His compassion always led to action, whether healing, feeding, providing, or calling others to serve! You see, this was God the Son who SPOKE EVERYTHING that exists into existence.
“In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD (God the Son). The same was in the beginning with God. All things were MADE (created) BY HIM; and without Him was not anything made that was made.” (John 1:1-3) Now our feeble human minds may have trouble with this but when creation took place GOD “SAID” and out of His mouth came the WORD (Jesus) and by HIM, all things were created! This is true because “In the beginning was the WORD…”
If you have a problem with this look at (Colossians 1:15-17) Jesus “…is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him (Jesus the WORD) were ALL THINGS created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL THINGS were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him ALL THINGS consist.”
As we are very aware, this world was a mess, God’s chosen people rejected Jesus when He came to redeem them but, “…God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him MIGHT BE SAVED.” (John 3:16-17)
