SOW 1RIGHTEOUSNESS for yourselves, REAP the fruit of UNFAILING LOVE, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to SEEK THE LORD, until He comes and SHOWERS HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ON YOU. (Hosea 10:12) 1tsâdaq: to be in the right. A righteous person not only does the right thing for other’s but also does the right thing for the Lord. Nowhere is the issue of righteousness more appropriate than in the problem of the suffering of the righteous, presented to us in the book of Job, where this verb occurs 17 times.

Let the one who is taught the word SHARE all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: GOD IS NOT MOCKED, for whatever one SOWS, that will he also REAP. (Gal. 6:6-7) For example A single seed (or kernel) of corn may yield more than 600 kernels of corn. One plat can produce 4 ears of corn that’s 2,400 kernels!!! Hosea tells us that when we sow righteousness we reap UNFAILING love!, That’s God’s agape love that is SHOWERED on us in a multiplied amount, not because we are worthy but because, “God is love” (1 John 4:7)

We’re were told to break up the uncultivated ground in our hardened and rebellious hearts. “Break up your fallow ground”. For too long we may have GONE OUR OWN WAY. The time has come for us to SEEK the Lord, with our whole heart, so we can be useful to the Lord. Don’t just tear your clothes to show how sad you are. Let your hearts BE BROKEN. Return to the LORD your God. He is gracious. He is tender and kind. He is slow to get angry. HE IS FULL OF LOVE. He takes pity on you. He won’t destroy you. (Joel 2:13)
