“Your WORD, LORD, IS ETERNAL; it stands firm in the heavens. YOUR FAITHFULNESS CONTINUES through all generations; you established the earth, it continues to exist.” (Psa. 119:89-90) The idea of the Word of God is not new AMY, “In the beginning (The Word was already there in the beginning) was the Word, and the Word was WITH GOD, and the Word WAS GOD (God the SON). He was in the beginning with God. All things were MADE BY HIM, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:1-3) Wait, tell me more about the Word! “THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH and He made His home with us. We have seen His glory. It is the glory of the one and only Son. He came from the Father. And He was full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
This is what we must pray and ask God to reveal to us AMY, so we will clearly understand. When God the Father spoke and said, “Let there be light…” The WORD that came out of God’s mouth was Jesus Christ. That “WORD” became flesh when Jesus was born in the manger. “The Word was made flesh and He made His home WITH US.” THAT’S THE LIVING WORD, What kind of power does the written word have for us?
ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD–BREATHED AND IS USEFUL FOR TEACHING, REBUKING, CORRECTING AND TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, SO THAT THE SERVANT OF GOD MAY BE THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK…(2 Tim. 3:16-17)
