“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will REAP DESTRUCTION; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will REAP ETERNAL LIFE.” (Gal. 6:7-8)
All we need is to believe in and accept Christ as our savior, “…in Jesus we might become THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of God.” (2 Corin. 5:21) Remember, it is not just our BEING but what we are DOING! Jesus said “…unless your righteousness (our DOING) is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 5:20) “O foolish man, faith without works is dead?” (Jam. 2:20)
The LORD says, “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked…turn from your wicked ways so you can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, why should you die? “Son of man, give your people this message: “The righteous behavior of righteous people WILL NOT SAVE them if they turn to sin, NOR will the wicked behavior of wicked people DESTROY THEM if they repent and turn from their sins.” (Ezek. 33:11-14)
