“The high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, the Holy One (the Lord God), says this: I live in the high and holy place with those who have a contrite heart and a humble spirit; TO 1REVIVE the spirit of the humble, and TO REVIVE the heart of the 2contrite ones.” (Isa. 57:15) 1châyâh: to restore to life. 2dâkâh: be crushed or broken.
The Lord says, I want to MAKE ALIVE AGAIN the humble spirits and the contrite hearts!!! Our humble spirits TRUST IN THE LORD with everything that is in us. We lay before the Lord with CRUSHED and BROKEN “selves” so He can FORM us into what He wants us to be FOR HIM.
God developed a plan for us when we were in our mother’s womb. This was not a predestined plan but a perfect plan, that is our CALLING for who God made us to become and WE CAN CHOOSE to follow it or not. “You saw me before I was born. EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” (Psa. 139:16 NLT)
God is desiring to use US in a way that will bring glory and honor to Him because that will DRAW PEOPLE TO HIM. “…God our Savior, who desires ALL MEN to BE SAVED and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim. 2:3-4)
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you and show you THE GIFTS GOD HAS GIVEN YOU and the ways He wants you to use them. Also, don’t worry about the future. FOCUS ON TODAY and do what you are currently doing until God SHOWS YOU the next step.
