Paul asks, “What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the VERY WORDS OF GOD. What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! LET GOD BE TRUE, and EVERY HUMAN BEING A LIAR.” (Rom. 3:1-4) One thing to be very sure of, GOD IS ALWAYS, HAS ALWAYS and WILL ALWAYS BE FAITHFUL.
Just as “…it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE…” (Heb. 6:18) We know that it is impossible for God to be unfaithful. “If we are unfaithful, He REMAINS FAITHFUL, for He cannot DENY WHO HE IS.” (2 Tim. 2:13)
In the day and age we live in we have pretty much given up on hearing the voice of the Lord. It just seems strange to me with all the emphasis placed on God as being our Abba Father, “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “ABBA, FATHER (an endearing term meaning “daddy”).“ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST…” (Rom. 8:15-17) We desperately need to hear the voice of our Father!!! So, He says “Call to me and I will answer you and TELL YOU great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jer. 33:3) Through Isaiah He tells us, “…you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here am I…” (Isa. 58:9)
