“…THE WORDS OF THE LORD ARE FLAWLESS, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and WILL PROTECT US FOREVER FROM THE WICKED, who freely strut about when what is vile (disgusting) is honored by the human race.” (Psalms 12:6-8) There are many proofs that have been given of the WORD’S power and truth; it has been tried over and over again, many saints in all ages have trusted the word and tried the word, and it has never deceived them nor unsatisfied their expectation, and they have set to their approval that God’s word IS TRUE, with an Experto crede – “Trust the one that has tried it”; they have found it faithful! Yes, the word of God warns us of the ways of the wicked. “For the word of God is ALIVE AND ACTIVE. Sharper than any double-edged sword, IT PENETRATES even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; IT JUDGES THE THOUGHTS AND ATTITUDES OF THE HEART.” (Heb. 4:12) The KJV says the word is “quick and powerful”. The flawless word of God is alive in us! When God said “let there be light” because His word is alive and powerful; instantly there was light and it has been ‘shining’ forth from that spoken statement from God and will continue to shine forever! We have been blessed with written proof of our Abba Father’s loving care for us! “The LAW of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The STATUTES of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The PRECEPTS of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The COMMANDS of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The FEAR of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The DECREES of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.” (Psalms 19:7-10) This Psalm mentions all of the aspects of the Word of God then says: “By them your servant is warned; IN KEEPING THEM THERE IS GREAT REWARD.” (Psalms 19:11) We must seek to understand and to keep the Word of God! “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True…on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but He Himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and HIS NAME IS THE WORD OF GOD.” (Revelation 19:11-13)
BY THE WORD OF GOD YOUR SERVANT IS WARNED; IN KEEPING THE WORD THERE IS GREAT REWARD!
