AMY ASK, WHAT IS GOD’S PURPOSE FOR ME…

AMY, If you wake up feeling purposeless that could be extremely frustrating. We look around and see many friends and coworkers living passionate, engaged, meaningful lives, having deep relationships, rewarding jobs and a sense of direction that compels them to hop out of bed each morning with a spring in their step. What gives them that spring in their step? The Psalmist says, I CRY OUT TO GOD Most High, to God who will FULFILL HIS PURPOSE FOR ME.(Psa. 57:2) It is God and only God who can fulfill His purpose for our lives, AMY! So, how do we get Him to do that? We must CRY OUT to Him! God Says, CALL OUT TO ME. I will ANSWER YOU. I will tell you great things you do not know. (Jer. 33:3)

If we are having some particular kind of trouble, Call upon Me IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” (Psa. 50:15) It is important that our hearts are right with God AMY, The RIGHTEOUS CRY OUT, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of ALL their troubles.(Psa. 34:17) The Lord also desires for us to fear Him, He will fulfill the desire of those who FEAR HIM; He also will HEAR THEIR CRY and save them. (Psa. 145:19)

It may be hard to admit that we cannot solve a problem or overcome an obstacle AMY, but it is true that WE NEED GOD’S HELP. He delights in a broken and repentant heart that humbly seeks His aid. He does not forget THE CRY OF THE HUMBLE.(Psa. 9:12) This is the Palmists bed time prayer, I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows CLOSE BEHIND YOU; Your right hand UPHOLDS ME.(Psa. 63:4-8)
