“By the WORD of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For HE SPOKE, and IT WAS DONE; He commanded, and it stood fast.” (Psa. 33:6-9)
What is, no I mean “who” is the WORD of the Lord? “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God…Everything came into existence through HIM. Not one thing that exists was made without HIM.” (John 1:1, 3) You see, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” (Gen. 1:3) Out of God’s mouth came the WORD and the WORD created ALL THINGS.
Maybe this verse will help, “I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True…He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The WORD OF GOD…out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Rev. 19:11-13, 15-16)
We have the WRITTEN WORD, “For the word of God is LIVING and POWERFUL…” (Heb. 4:12) We are instructed to “…TEACH them diligently to your children, and shall TALK of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall WRITE them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (Deut. 6:7-9)
We have the LIVING WORD, living in us, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” My Father will love him, and We will COME TO HIM and MAKE OUR HOME WITH HIM.” (John 14:21-23)
