We might be walking along on day and hear the Lord say, “Where are you going?” this could be our reply, “I don’t know please show me where to go!” He just might say,“Search for the LORD and for His strength; 1CONTINUALLY SEEK HIM.” (1 Chron. 16:11) 1tâmı̂yd: perpetuity, to stretch beyond. This is saying we must infinitely stretch beyond and NEVER STOP seeking God because there is always more. The Lord says, “I love those who love me, And those who SEEK ME DILIGENTLY (thoroughly) WILL FIND ME.” (Prov. 8:17) The Lord is very serious about our desiring intimacy with Him, “…you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I WILL LISTEN TO YOU. And you will seek Me and FIND ME, when you search for Me with ALL YOUR HEART.” (Jer. 29:12-13)
“Seek the LORD while HE MAY BE FOUND, Call upon Him while HE IS NEAR. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For HE WILL ABUNDANTLY PARDON…My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It SHALL NOT RETURN TO ME VOID (invalid), But it shall ACCOMPLISH WHAT I PLEASE, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth INTO SINGING BEFORE YOU, And all the trees of the field shall CLAP THEIR HANDS.” (Isa. 55:6-7, 11-12) When God says His word would not return void, remember God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years…” (Gen. 1:14) That word was spoken on the fourth day and IMMEDIATELY the sun and the moon and all the celestial objects appeared all across the universe. You see, that is the kind of awesome God we serve… He says to us, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matt. 7:7)
