06-01-20 Loved One’s Devotion CRYING OUT AND LISTENING…

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: Dear God, David knew where to find full assurance. He went to his God in prayer, crying, Say to my soul, I AM YOUR SALVATION!” (Psa. 35:3) We need to be OFTEN ALONE WITH GOD if we are to enjoy a clear sense of Jesus’ love. When our prayers cease, our eye of faith will grow dim. It is absolutely necessary to spend much time in prayer, which will keep us connected with heaven; if we back off and become slow in prayer, we will become slow in our progress. Our consistent prayers to God is what will keep us energized for the work we are called to do.

Remember what Jesus said, “…when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret WILL REWARD YOU. (Matt. 6:6) How will He reward us? With answered prayer!!! But will the Lord speak to us? The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “SPEAK, FOR YOUR SERVANT IS LISTENING.” (1 Sam. 3:10) We are instructed by Jesus, “…when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; HE WILL SPEAK only what He hears, and HE WILL TELL YOU what is yet to come.(John 16:13)

There may be times when we need clear direction from the Lord about something were supposed to do or some where we are supposed to go so, Whoever has ears, LET THEM HEAR what the Spirit says…” (Rev. 2:29) Here is the problem, the DEVIL HAS CONVINCED US that if the Lord wants us to know something He’ll show us in the Word because He does not speak to us anymore. When the Lord wanted someone to speak to Paul, He said to, “…a disciple named Ananias. The Lord CALLED TO HIM in a vision, “Ananias!” “Yes, Lord,” he answered. The Lord told him, “Go to the house of JUDAS on STRAIGHT STREET and ask for a man from Tarsus named SAUL(Acts 9:10-11) Call to Me, and I WILL ANSWER YOU, and show you great and mighty things, which YOU DO NOT KNOW.(Jer. 33:3)

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says:] “Whoever has ears, LET THEM HEAR. !!!That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin…
