“…you will CALL UPON ME and go and pray to Me, and I WILL LISTEN TO YOU. And you will SEEK ME AND FIND ME, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jer. 29:12-13) The Lord desires for us to seek Him.“The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you SEEK HIM, He will be FOUND BY YOU…” (2 Chron. 15:2) The Lord desires for us to find an intimate relationship with Him. “O God, You are my God; Early will I SEEK YOU; My soul THIRSTS FOR YOU…” (Psa. 63:1) When we feel parched, we don’t want soda — in fact, we don’t want any other liquid. We desire the one thing that will most quench our thirst: good pure and cool water. So, when we thirst for God, there is nothing that will satisfy us BUT GOD!!! “I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from ALL MY FEARS.” (Psa. 34:4) “SEEK THE LORD while He may be found, CALL UPON HIM while He is near.” (Isa. 55:6) “…without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM, for he who comes to God MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, and that HE IS A REWARDER of those who DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.” (Heb. 11:6)
What will actually happen when we seek God?
- He will listen to us…
- We will find Him…
- We will thirst for Him…
- He will deliver us from our fears…
- When we diligently seek Him, He will reward us…
