“See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has A SINFUL, UNBELIEVING HEART that turns away from the living God.” (Heb. 3:12) At the heart of all sin is a lie. The devil says to all of us in our sin, we might hear this lie, “the act you are now doing, the desire or attitude you are now feeling is NOT VERY BAD because there are much worse things, God knows you are but frail and weak and He will tolerate and pity your sin.” “…the serpent was more cunning…And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said…the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it…lest you die.’ “…the serpent said “YOU WILL NOT SURELY DIE.” (Gen. 3:1-4) The devil lied very convincingly, because Eve then Adam, disobeyed God and acquired sinful and unbelieving hearts. They lost their rights to the “Paradise of God”, the Garden of Eden.
That’s why we have the Word of God, “For the word of God is LIVING AND POWERFUL, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is A DISCERNER (kritiko: examine, judge) OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS of the heart. NOTHING…IS HIDDEN FROM GOD. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and HE IS THE ONE to whom we are accountable.” (Heb. 4:12, 13) Jesus said, “…nothing is secret that WILL NOT BE REVEALED, nor anything hidden that WILL NOT BE KNOWN AND COME TO LIGHT.” (Luke 8:17) God knows everything that’s going on, we can’t hide!!! “…there is nothing COVERED that will not be revealed, nor HIDDEN that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark WILL BE HEARD in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be PROCLAIMED on the housetops.” (Luke 12:2-3) So, tell the Lord you are sorry and ask for forgiveness!!! If you do you will be forgiven! Now ask Jesus to come into your heart, you will be born again, saved, redeemed!!!
