My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “If I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN and receive you to Myself, that where I am, THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO. And you know the way where I am going.” (John 14:3-4) They might have known from some expressions of Jesus, that the way to his Father’s house lay through SUFFERINGS AND DEATH, the way they also were to follow Him to His kingdom and glory. This will not be the way for all of us going but it was for most all of His apostles. They tried to kill John in a tub of boiling oil but he just bathed in it so, they sent him to the Isle of Patmos. “This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show His servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation TO HIS SERVANT JOHN, who faithfully reported everything he saw. This is his report of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Rev. 1:1-2)
No mistake about it, Jesus is coming to take us away to a place SO WONDERFUL it goes beyond description!!! He says that we KNOW THE WAY! Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, HOW DO WE KNOW THE WAY?” (John 14:5) Remember, this is that doubting Thomas…
Jesus answered, “I AM the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE. NO ONE comes to the Father except THROUGH ME…Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and THEY WILL DO EVEN GREATER THINGS THAN THESE, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:6, 12)
