HOW DO WE DO THE WORKS OF GOD…

The people who were blessed to be part of the 5,000 plus women and children who ate the miraculous bread said to Jesus, What must we do to do THE WORKS GOD REQUIRES?  Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: TO BELIEVE IN THE ONE HE HAS SENT.” (John 6:28-29) We must be very still and hear God’s Voice, and let It tell us WHO JESUS IS! When Jesus Christ was born as man so we might be wholly His, for only those who are complete in Christ can be a part of God’s completion. The name of Jesus is the name of one who became a man while still being completely Christ, so he could became identified with man. Jesus the Christ remains a Savior because He saw all the false, never accepting it as true. And Christ needed His form as man so that He might appear to men and save them from their fears. Let’s Follow Him as He asks us to see within ourselves, the Way the Truth and the Light that Jesus showed Himself to be.

Jesus Christ is God the SonDeity is the only explanation for all that He was and all that He did.

  • He was pre-existent with the Father. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; without Him nothing was made that has been made.(John 1:1-3)
  • He is the Son of God.
    • His enemies admitted: Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because He not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that GOD WAS HIS FATHER, making Himself equal with God. (John 5:18)
    • Peter confessed: “…we believe and are sure that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God. (John 6:69)
    • Jesus affirmed: “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30).
  • He was sinless, as only God can be.
    • Jesus challenged His enemies: “Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?” (John 8:46)
    • Peter testified: “…Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. “HE COMMITTED NO SIN, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” (1 Peter 2:21-22)
  • He forgives sin, as only God can.
    • Jesus said, “…I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” (Matt. 9:6)

We just must believe Jesus is who HE SAYS HE IS
