My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: Jesus spoke to a Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, saying, “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? No one has ascended to heaven BUT HE WHO CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, that is, THE SON OF MAN WHO IS IN HEAVEN. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so MUST THE SON OF MAN BE LIFTED UP, that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.” (John 3:12-15) Jesus is talking about the manner of His death, being LIFTED UP ON THE CROSS…Jesus explains that a person who won’t believe earthly claims won’t believe heavenly ones, either. If Nicodemus, or anyone else, rejects what Jesus says about heaven, there ISN’T ANY OTHER SOURCE to which they can go. This is one of the places in John chapter 3 where Jesus makes a claim to “EXCLUSIVITY.” This, in short, means that JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO GOD—THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS, may I please repeat this JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO GOD—THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS!!!
“Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found IN NO ONE ELSE (but Jesus), for there is NO OTHER NAME under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:11-12) Paul went on to explain this more clearly, “…if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by BEING LIKE-MINDED, having the SAME LOVE, being ONE IN SPIRIT and of ONE MIND…Jesus made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant…being found in appearance as a man, He HUMBLED HIMSELF BY BECOMING OBEDIENT TO DEATH— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to THE HIGHEST PLACE AND GAVE HIM THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY NAME, that at the NAME OF JESUS every knee SHOULD BOW, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue ACKNOWLEDGE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil. 2:1-2, 7-11)
This is what will be going on in heaven, in a loud voice millions upon millions of angles were saying: “WORTHY IS THE LAMB (Jesus), who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and TO THE LAMB BE PRAISE AND HONOR AND GLORY AND POWER, FOR EVER AND EVER!“ (Rev. 5:12-13)
