DOING WHAT’S RIGHT WILL…

”…let us not get tired OF DOING WHAT IS RIGHT, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up. That’s why whenever we can we should always be KIND TO EVERYONE, and especially to our Christian brothers.” (Gal. 6:9-10) Doing good is hard work, especially if someone begins to doubt whether it matters. Paul is urging the Galatians to keep living in a way that is CONSISTENT WITH WHAT THEY BELIEVE. We must focus on how we as Christians should TREAT EACH OTHER, through the power of God’s Spirit. We should RESTORE THOSE CAUGHT IN SIN with gentleness and humility, and we should help to carry EACH OTHER’S BURDENS. Having said that, we as Christians should be honest with ourselves about what God is doing through us. We need to take responsibility for what He has asked us to carry. Because eternal life comes from planting GOD’S SPIRIT BY OUR FAITH IN CHRIST, and not by works of the flesh, we must keep doing good.

Paul says, For this reason I BOW MY KNEES to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He would GRANT YOU, according to the riches of His glory, to be STRENGTHENED WITH MIGHT through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS THROUGH FAITH; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the WIDTH AND LENGTH AND DEPTH AND HEIGHT— TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST which passes knowledge; that you may be FILLED WITH ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD.(Eph. 3:14-19)

Now just take a moment to consider who you are asking, Now TO HIM who is able to do

EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK, ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US(Eph. 3:20)
