“…be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will NEVER leave you nor FORSAKE you. So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?” (Heb. 13:5-6) “Out of MY DISTRESS I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and SET ME FREE. The LORD is ON MY SIDE; I will not fear. What can man DO TO ME? The LORD is on my side as MY HELPER; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me. It is better to TAKE REFUGE IN THE LORD than to TRUST IN MAN.” (Psa. 118:5-8)
AMY, We see that the Lord will ALWAYS be with us!!! So, if we believe that the Lord is telling the truth (by the way that is one of His attributes, Jesus said, “I am…the truth” (John 14:6)) what could anyone do to us? Since the Lord is our helper we can TAKE REFUGE (shelter, sanctuary, asylum) in Him. “…if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION. The old has passed away; behold, THE NEW HAS COME.” (2 Corin. 5:17) Wouldn’t it be wonderful AMY, if it could happen every day!!! But wait… “The steadfast love of the LORD NEVER CEASES; His mercies NEVER COME TO AN END; they are…
NEW EVERY MORNING; GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS…(Lam. 3:22-23)
