God’s Word is our greatest weapon, our Sword of the Spirit. Jesus quoted Scripture when tempted by Satan. Will, we need to know and use God’s Word as well. It keeps us from believing the lies and deceptions of Satan and it contains God’s POWER AND AUTHORITY. “…be strong in the Lord Will, in HIS MIGHTY POWER. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms…put on THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD, so that…you may be able to STAND YOUR GROUND, and after you have done everything, to stand. STAND FIRM THEN, with the belt of truth…the breastplate of righteousness…your feet fitted with the readiness…from the gospel of peace…take up the shield of faith…to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one…the helmet of salvation and THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is THE WORD OF GOD.” (Eph. 6:10-17)
