John the Baptist spoke of Christ saying, “I indeed baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. It came to pass that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and WAS BAPTIZED BY JOHN in the Jordan. And immediately, He saw the heavens parting and THE SPIRIT DESCENDING UPON HIM like a dove. Then a voice came FROM HEAVEN, “You are MY BELOVED SON, in whom I am well pleased.” (Mark 1:8-11)
John baptized JESUS, the HOLY SPIRIT came down to Jesus and the FATHER spoke from heaven. The TRIUNE GOD HEAD has always existed and will always exist, we are speaking of an eternal entity. God the Father took this very special occasion, out of His love for us, to reveal to us so, we could see for ourselves and understand THE TRINITY. Jesus said, “…this is eternal life, that they may know you, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and JESUS CHRIST WHOM YOU HAVE SENT.” (John 17:3)
“…we have known and believed the love that God has for us. GOD IS LOVE, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him…
WE LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US…(1 John 4:16, 19)
