“He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God IS PERFECTED IN HIM. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him OUGHT HIMSELF ALSO TO WALK JUST AS HE WALKED.” (1 John 2:4-6) Every journey begins with a single step in the right direction, but as life goes on, when we don’t have our eyes fixed on Jesus, it’s too easy to veer off track. You’ve probably heard it said that when our focus is off by even just one degree, that can lead us to places we’d never planned on going. If you’re off course by just one degree, After a mile, you’ll be off by 92.2 feet. So Will, we need to make sure we are “right on” with Jesus!
He told us he would direct our path, “I will instruct you and guide you along the BEST PATH for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.” (Psalms 32:8) Then, “The LORD will guide you CONTINUALLY, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones (keep you healthy); You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” (Isaiah 58:11)
