MANY are called, but FEW are chosen.” (Matt. 22:14)

Jesus had just fed about 15,000 people with five barley loaves and two small fish. Later that day the disciples left in their boat and Jesus met them WALKING on the sea and when He got in the boat “…IMMEDIATELY the boat was at the land where they were going.(John 6:21) Jesus’ disciples just experienced THREE SIGNIFICANTLY MIRACULOUS EVENTS!

The next day there was a great multitude around Jesus saying, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? (John 6:30) Jesus said (referring to Israel eating manna), God gave them BREAD FROM HEAVEN to eat.” (John 6:31) They said give us this bread, Jesus said, I AM the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never HUNGER, and he who believes on Me shall never THIRST. (John 6:35)

There was more straight talk from Jesus, about following and obeying Him, as a result, “…many of His disciples WENT BACKand walked NO MORE with Him. (John 6:66) Jesus asked the twelve, Do you also wish to go away? Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? (many were called, few chose to go)

YOU HAVE THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE(John 6:67-68)
