Joseph’s brothers tried to kill him, instead they sold him into bondage, but God protected Joseph all through many unfavorable circumstances. For the next 13 years of his life, God put divine favor in pharaohs heart and he promoted Joseph to second in charge of all the land of Egypt. “When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually repay us for all the evil which we did to him.” (Genesis 50:15) The brothers thought that Joseph would not forgive them, “Joseph wept when they spoke to him. Then his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” Joseph said, “Do not be afraid, for AM I IN THE PLACE OF GOD? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but GOD MEANT IT FOR GOOD, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” (Genesis 50:15-20) “If possible, live in peace with everyone.” (Romans 12:18)
God can bless where it looks humanly impossible because, “Nothing is impossible for God; He will accomplish all His purpose” (Isaiah 46:10).
