My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “…the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever.”…Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that EVERY INTENT OF THE THOUGHTS OF MAN’S HEART WAS ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY. And the LORD was GRIEVED in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will destroy man…from the face of the earth, both man and beast…for I AM SORRY that I have made them.”But NOAH FOUND GRACE in the eyes of the LORD.” (Gen. 6:3, 5-8) We see that because of Satan’s influence, man had become so selfish, seeking to do whatever he could to find self-pleasure. Here is an example.
With the increased exposure to porn, there has been an increase in acceptance. George Barna reported that 90% of teens and 96% of young adults have a careless attitude toward porn—speaking about it in a neutral, accepting or encouraging way. Ironically, they are nearly twice as likely to view “not recycling” as morally wrong. Especially troubling in the report is the increase in “sexting” or sending pornographic images via cell phone. Barna reported that two-thirds of teens and young adults (66%) have received a sexually explicit message, and two in every five (41%) have sent one—usually to/from a boyfriend or girlfriend.
Like Noah we need to find the Lord’s grace, for God, no matter whether a person is great or insignificant, as long as they can listen to Him, obey His instructions and do what He is entrusted with, can cooperate with God’s work, His will, and His plan, then that conduct will be blessed with GOD’S AMAZING GRACE.
