How many people can truly say that Christ is Lord in their hearts? In how many people’s hearts does He rule? Jesus Himself says, “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord’, and not do the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46). Life proceeds from the heart. Christ is the life, the light of men. We are true Christians when He becomes the absolute ruler on our heart’s throne. That is Christianity. There are many things that go by the name of Christianity, but only very few people are true Christians. “…many are called, but FEW ARE CHOSEN.” (Matt. 22:14) Jesus says: “…whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it. “For what is a man profited if he GAINS THE WHOLE WORLD, AND LOSES HIS OWN SOUL? (Luke 9:24-25)
Because not many want to pay the price! Jesus says in another place that the gate is narrow, and the way is hard that leads to life, therefore few choose this way. “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. “For the gate is small and THE WAY IS NARROW that leads to life, and there are FEW who find it. (Matt. 7:13-14) So, here is what we must do, Pray for AMY to be filled with GODLY SORROW: “There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Even in laughter the heart may be in pain, And the end of joy may be grief. The backslider in heart AMY, WILL HAVE HER FILL OF HER OWN WAYS…” (Pro. 14:12-14)
