Winning people over isn’t always easy. Yet the ability to prayerfully apply the gentle art of persuasion to lost loved ones is essential.
Every single day, we are faced with the task of . And every single day, we face resistance, from the enemy of our soul! When we’re praying for one to find their way back home we must understand how to get our way and bring about a winning outcome for the lost. We must pray for the Lord, “…to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” Says Jesus. (Acts 26:18)
Let’s remember that: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but IS LONGSUFFERING toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) Another important thing to remember is: “…this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask ANYTHING according to His will, He hears us.” (1 John 5:14)
Because JESUS is not: “…willing that AMY should perish but that she should come to repentance.”
