“For I am the LORD, I DO NOT CHANGE…” (Malachi 3:6) Change is one of the most threatening things many of us face in life, and yet we encounter it every day. The universe itself is changing. Scientists tell us that all observable systems are continually changing from order to disorder. People change. One day we may be in a good mood, the next day in an ugly mood. And it is disturbing if we never know what to expect from one another.
“My life passes as swiftly as the evening shadows. I am withering away like grass. But you, O LORD, will sit on your throne FOREVER. Your AWESOMENESS WILL ENDURE to every generation.” (Psalms 102:11-12) The Lord will always be there for us, we can completely trust in that fact… “In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but YOU REMAIN; they will all wear out like a garment. But YOU REMAIN THE SAME, and YOUR YEARS WILL NEVER END.” (Psalms 102:25-27)
