My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Beloved, DO NOT BELIEVE EVERY SPIRIT, but TEST THE SPIRITS, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world…You are of God, little children, and HAVE OVERCOME THEM, because HE WHO IS IN YOU IS GREATER than he who is in the world…Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love DOES NOT KNOW GOD, FOR GOD IS LOVE.” (1 John 4:1, 4, 7-8) How do we test the spirits? Jesus said, “I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life…” (John 14:6) So, Jesus is the standard or measure of truth, He also tells us, “…the devil…does not stand in the truth, because THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM…he is a liar and the father of it.” (John 8:44)
Where do we find the truth? Jesus said as He prayed to the Father, “…YOUR WORD IS TRUTH.” (John 17:17) Jesus also says, “I am the LIGHT of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness...” (John 8:12) So, in testing the spirits we know that, “…everyone who does evil HATES THE LIGHT, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.” (John 3:20) Here is what we do, “Let the word of Christ DWELL [live] IN YOU richly in all wisdom…” (Col. 3:16)
With my whole heart I have sought You…Your word I HAVE HIDDEN IN MY HEART…(Psalms 119:10-11)
