My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Now faith is the substance [material] of things hoped for, the evidence [proof] of things not seen…By faith we understand that THE WORLDS WERE 1FRAMED BY THE WORD OF GOD, so that the things which are seen WERE NOT MADE OF THINGS WHICH ARE VISIBLE.” (Heb. 11:1-3) 1katartizó: put in order, to make complete, to prepare.
So, the world was created or “put in order” by the spoken word. This is what fascinates me, that spoken word was Jesus Christ, who is known as THE WORD OF GOD. “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True…He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD.” (Rev. 19:11-13)
The apostle John says it like this, “In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things WERE MADE BY HIM, and not one thing that exists was made without Him.” (John 1:1-3) In eternity past Jesus was THE WORD OF GOD but then, ”…THE WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and WE BEHELD HIS GLORY, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH…WE BEHELD HIS GLORY…
