“BEHOLD, ALL SOULS ARE MINE; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; THE SOUL WHO SINS SHALL DIE…If he has WALKED IN MY STATUTES—And KEPT MY JUDGMENTS FAITHFULLY—HE IS JUST; HE SHALL SURELY LIVE!“…Again, WHEN A WICKED MAN TURNS AWAY FROM THE WICKEDNESS WHICH HE COMMITTED, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. Because HE CONSIDERS AND TURNS AWAY FROM ALL THE TRANSGRESSIONS WHICH HE COMMITTED, he shall surely live; he shall not die.” (Ezek. 18:4, 9, 20, 27-28) As I was writing this devotion this morning this song began to play and I thought it described these verses well.
All the Ways He Loves Us
- Blessings are given as we are living for Jesus
- He’s the beginning and He is the end
- He will be faithful again and again
- We give Him praise for all the ways He loves us
- For all the ways He loves us
- He loves, he loves, he loves, he loves us
Our souls indeed belong to the Lord and as He says “the soul that sins shall die” but if we sin and then repent, turning away from our sins, and walking in obedience to God’s commandments, diligently keeping His word, we shall live!!!
GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS OWN LOVE TOWARD US, IN THAT WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US… (Rom. 5:8)
