What do we treasure most today? What is it that has our hearts? Is it some self-interest, our family/friends or our job? The word of God says, “For where your treasure is, THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO.” (Matt. 6:21) Jesus said, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but LAY UP FOR YOURSELVES TREASURES IN HEAVEN…” (Matt. 6:19-20) David prayed this prayer about his heart, in the KJV, “Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: YOU HAVE 1ENLARGED ME when I was in distress… Meditate within my heart, and be still. Selah.” (Psa. 4:1, 4) 1râchab: to make room. MAKE ROOM IN MY HEART dear Lord. I pray that, “CHRIST MAY DWELL IN OUR HEARTS THROUGH FAITH; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST WHICH PASSES (too great to fully know) KNOWLEDGE; that we may be filled with ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD.” (Eph. 3:17-19)
BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD! I WILL BE HONORED BY EVERY NATION… THROUGHOUT THE WORLD…(Psalms 46:10)
