My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “…I go forward, but God is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him…HE KNOWS THE WAY THAT I TAKE; When He has tested me, I SHALL COME FORTH AS GOLD. My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I HAVE TREASURED THE WORDS OF HIS MOUTH MORE THAN MY NECESSARY FOOD.” (Job 23:8-12)
The Lord said this to Satan, about Job, “…Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who FEARS GOD AND SHUNS EVIL?” (Job 1:8)
In the opening verse above, Job is mentioning how He treasures God’s word above all else. Satan was allowed to tempt Job and Job spent several verses speaking complaints against God for allowing everything he had to be lost. Job does mention, several times, how he loves and trusts God. “IF YOU RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY, YOU WILL BE BUILT UP; YES, THE ALMIGHTY WILL BE YOUR GOLD AND YOUR PRECIOUS SILVER; FOR THEN YOU WILL HAVE YOUR DELIGHT IN THE ALMIGHTY, AND LIFT UP YOUR FACE TO GOD.” (Job 22:23-26)
