08-23-19 FaithLine JESUS, THE KINGDOM AND THE CHURCH…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: I want to remind you of the gospel I preached, which you received and have TAKEN YOUR STAND. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached…of first importance: that Christ DIED FOR OUR SINS, HEwas BURIED, was RAISED on the third…He APPEARED TO PETER, and THEN TO THE TWELVE. After that, He appeared to more than FIVE HUNDREDat the same timelast of all He APPEARED TO MEFor I AM THE LEAST OF THE APOSTLES and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I PERSECUTED THE CHURCH OF GOD. (1 Corin. 15:1-6, 8-9) Jesus said. “…I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” (Matt. 16:18) Paul went from trying to destroy the Church, to aggressively building it up. Then he feverishly wrote and preached the gospel.

Of the 27 books of the new testament, Paul was the author of at least 13 of them. Paul had a brilliant mind, a commanding knowledge of philosophy and religion, and could debate with the most educated scholars of his day. At the same time, Paul’s powerful anointing and a clear, understanding of the scriptures and explanation of the gospel made his letters to early churches the foundation of Christian theology. Paul was thought to be a physically small man, but he endured enormous physical hardships on his missionary journeys. His perseverance in the face of danger and persecution has inspired countless missionaries since.

Paul is reminding the church at Corinth, how they have taken their stand and one day, “…the end will come, when Jesus HANDS OVER THE KINGDOM TO GOD the Father after,

JESUS HAS DESTROYED ALL DOMINION, AUTHORITY AND POWER (that’s not of God)(1 Corin. 15:24)

FaithLine, the bible says: “…Jesus HANDS OVER THE KINGDOM TO GOD the Father.”
