“In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. FROM HIS TEMPLE HE HEARD MY VOICE; my cry came before him, into his ears.” (Psalms 18:6) Our awesome Abba Father LIVES close by, because He is always here to help us! “Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, YOU WILL KNOW MY FATHER AS WELL. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.” (John 14:5-7) OK, Jesus is with us and He says, the Father is with Him, so where does He live? “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and BE WITH YOU FOREVER— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for HE LIVES WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU.” (John 14:15-17) Wonderful, the Holy Spirit WILL LIVE IN US, what about the Father? “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and MAKE OUR HOME WITH THEM.” (John 14:23) We have a loving and compassionate Abba Father who is ALWAYS WITH US! “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, YOU WILL REMAIN IN MY LOVE, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and REMAIN IN HIS LOVE. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that YOUR JOY MAY BE COMPLETE.” (John 15:9-11) Thank you Jesus for this awesome JOY let it be our strength today!
ANYONE WHO LOVES ME (Jesus) WILL OBEY MY TEACHING. MY FATHER WILL LOVE THEM, AND WE WILL COME TO THEM AND MAKE OUR HOME WITH THEM!
