Jesus said, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and WE WILL COME TO HIM AND MAKE OUR HOME WITH HIM.” (John 14:23) Jesus promised, before He ascended into heaven, that He and the Father would come to us and make us their home! So, what does that make us? “Do you not know that YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD and that the Spirit of God DWELLS (lives) IN YOU? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For THE TEMPLE OF GOD IS HOLY, WHICH TEMPLE YOU ARE.” (1 Corin. 3:16-17)
When God tried to meet with His chosen people they rejected Him, “…the people saw the manifestation of God, they trembled and stood afar off. Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but LET NOT GOD SPEAK WITH US, LEST WE DIE.” (Exo. 20:18-19) The people of Israel had a problem of unbelief! “…THEY DID NOT BELIEVE IN GOD, And did not trust in His salvation.” (Psa. 78:22) What God desired for them He has fulfilled in us after the death and resurrection of His only begotten Son, “As you come to the living Stone (Jesus) —you also, like LIVING STONES, ARE BEING BUILT INTO A SPIRITUAL HOUSE to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ…YOU ARE A CHOSEN GENERATION, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS OWN SPECIAL PEOPLE, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT…” (1 Peter 2:4-5, 9)
LORD REVEAL TO US HOW GREATLY BLESSED WE ARE, WE ARE HOSTS TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD WHO SAID “CALL UNTO ME AND I WILL ANSWER YOU…” (Jer. 33:3)
