“…we shall be called, The repairer of the 1breach, The restorer of 2paths to dwell in…” (Isaiah 58:12) 1perets: a break (literally or figuratively). 2nathiyb: a straight and narrow path. As the cities in Israel, which had been long laid waste, were rebuilt the Jewish nation, as the church of God and the tabernacle of David, to the times of Christ, when the apostles, who were of the Jews, were instruments of raising it up again. We saw WONDERFUL AND MIRACULOUS DEMONSTRATIONS as a result of THE FAITH in the men and women of God. But from the time of Christ to the time we live in today there has been a “break” from that “straight and narrow” path of faith.
We can have our faith restored and see WONDERFUL AND MIRACULOUS DEMONSTRATIONS of that faith once again! “For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth…YOUR FAITH TOWARD GOD HAS GONE OUT…” (1 Thess. 1:8)
