Lord, You Are My Delight…

Delight: source of extreme satisfaction, great pleasure.

WILL, We Have To Love the Lord! “…YOU SHALL love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might [utterly].”    (Deut. 6:5)

“Therefore you shalt love the LORD your God, and keep his orders, and His rulings, and his judgments, and his commandments, always.” (Deut. 11:1)

“Jesus said…you shall love the Lord your God with all [holos – the whole], your heart [thoughts or feelings], and with all your soul [psuche – spirit], and with all your mind [understanding]. This is the first and great [megas – greatest] commandment.” (Matt. 22:37-38)

So WILL we must want To Love the Lord! “Delight yourself also in the LORD; and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.”    (Psa. 37:4-5)

“…As the deer pants after the water brooks, so pants [to long for] my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts [craves] for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?”    (Psa. 42:1-2)

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek [desire] those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection [take pleasure] on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead, and your life is hid [covered] with Christ in God.” (Col. 3:1-3)

“…make a joyful noise unto the LORD…Serve the LORD with gladness [pleasure, rejoicing]: come before his presence with singing. Know that the LORD He is God: it is He that created us, and not we ourselves…”    (Psa. 100:1-3)

WILL YOU WERE CREATED TO SERVE GOD WITH GREAT DELIGHT
