Our obedience to God is proof of our love for Him! “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)
“…an expert in the law, tested Jesus with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” (Matt. 22:35-40) “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in your saying…Jesus said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.” (Mark 12:32-34)
