Some men brought a man who was paralyzed, when they could not find how they might bring him in, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling…”Jesus saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” The scribes and the Pharisees began to say, “Who can forgive sins but God alone?” When Jesus perceived their thoughts, He said, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, ARISE, TAKE UP YOUR BED, AND GO.” IMMEDIATELY HE ROSE UP, took up his mat, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they WERE ALL AMAZED, And they GLORIFIED GOD And were FILLED WITH FEAR, saying, “WE HAVE SEEN STRANGE THINGS TODAY!“ (Luke 5:20-26) When the statement, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night…” (Gen. 1:14) Immediately the sun and the moon appeared, in all their glory, at the word spoken. Just as a reminder Jesus, ”…name is called THE WORD OF GOD.” (Rev. 19:13) When the Word goes forth something always happens…Remember what Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and DO NOT DOUBT, you will say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ IT WILL BE DONE.” (Matt. 21:21)
WE MUST OBEY THIS COMMAND FROM JESUS, “DO NOT DOUBT!”
